Every summer, Salina invites balloonists from around the world to soar over the town with Fishlake National Forest as their backdrop. The Eyes to the Sky Balloon Festival in Salina, UT is a site to see. Enjoy daily balloon launches, free concerts, craft and food vendors, and amusement rides. Celebrate Pioneer Day on July 24th, honoring the 1847 arrival of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints pioneers in Utah, led by Brigham Young. Enjoy festivities like rallies, parades, cookouts, fireworks displays and fun contests across Utah and in neighboring areas originally settled by Mormon pioneers.  Some people go on the “Mormon Trail” to reenact the scene of Young and his followers entering Utah.  Enjoy all the activities the state has to offer on this National Holiday and learn about the history of Utah.

The 21st annual Blast from the Past Classic Car Show is held at the beautiful Salina City Park! Organized by the dedicated Volunteer Committee, this event draws classic car enthusiasts from across Utah and neighboring states. Celebrate a shared passion for vintage vehicles while enjoying a day filled with fun, food, and camaraderie. Each year, the car show continues to grow, so bring your family and friends to experience the vibrant atmosphere and admire the beautifully restored vehicles.

There’s magic in the fair at the Sevier Country Fair and Rodeo.  The week of family-friendly fair activities includes carnival rides, a magical circus, live music, vendors, exciting rodeo events and of course all the youth fair entries to check out.  Grab your boots and hat, bring your friends and family and join us for a week of fun at the fair!

In addition, there are events held throughout the area at the  Blackhawk Arena, concerts and sporting events at the Sevier Valley Center and many others.
